I have been addicted to the FOTD(Face of the Day) board on Makeupalley since it premiered. I started following several posters who had great beauty ideas and application skills. I might be a beauty junkie but my skills are far from being considered professional. I just do not have the talent. The talented Judica was born with great lashes and killer blending skills. This is her youtube instruction for MAC's Electroflash and Sonic Chic collection. Besides a killer soundtrack, it also features helpful tips and instruction.
The best tip is when she uses tape to get rid of unwanted sparkles and glitter.
It was so simple and genius.

while that look is too severe for me i love the fact that she is doing these videos! how cute is she!!?? very fun and informative.
I love her! I didn't know she was a Makeup Alley girl! I've always loved her looks, she has serious talent!
Not a look for me but she has skills. Aren't those fake lashes? I can see a lash line. Just wondering.
Judica has incredible makeup skills, a uniquely beautiful face and fun persona! Even if I can't pull off some of the looks, she always has a smile, and is fun to watch. Keep the tuts coming!
She is amazing! She also has her own blog.
M: OMG
What is her blog? Do I have it in my link list? I wanna see!
You know who needs a blog? NOVA BABY.
that is her 'toned down' look? I seriously worry about these tutorials that teach women to cake on makeup. While some are fantastic (like askmemakeup) others just take their love of makeup too far.
I checked your blog list and she is not. Here is her link:

ugh. All her looks are seriously unwearable. She is sweet though, and I enjoyed watching the video because it was entertaining. But I think you're seriously wrong, Nova Baby's looks are just as ott and ridiculous.
Donnah: I love all kinds of beauty looks and ideas from the unwearable(Think Pat McGrath's Dior shows) to the work friendly(Think Carmindy/Bobbi Brown). I appreciate the talent for applying a Shu lash to the talent of creating a nude look.
I am inspired by both these muaers. They are young, talented, creative and fearless. They are also beauty addicts...which I can relate to.
They inspire me to be less safe with my beauty choices and to just have fun.
Marisol: Thanks!
I am updating my link list this weekend and will add her!
I love Jude! She's amazing.
I'm so surprised at some of the comments though! Ask Me Makeup definitely uses a lot of makeup, it's just the colors and application that differ. That's what cracks me up, is that if a look is with natural colors then it's wearable, but if it's with blues and purples it's OTT? Usually the only difference is the COLOR. Jude is incredibly talented and can tackle ANY look.
Annietown, I love your blog and you! I'm glad to know that one of my favorite bloggers is very open minded and appreciative of all things makeup and beauty related, from the avante garde to everyday. Besides, words like "toned down" "everyday" are all relative!
annieytown: runway is a fantasy. it's a diversion. Of course it's beautiful and wonderful and FANTASTIC. I supposed it's admirable that these women create their own diversion. And I respect that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
and "anonymous" It's not the color. I have a healthy collection of crazy color. I just don't wear it all together and I don't use half the pan in one look. It *is* relative and these *are* mere guidelines so whatever.
I was simply saying I'm not one of the people who fawn over her on the FOTD board.
