Powder Puffs Will Roll: Nicole Kidman at the Nine Premiere

Go and visit the blog Dlisted right now!
http://www.dlisted.com/

He just put up pictures from the NYC premiere of the movie Nine.
It appears that Nicole Kidman was not properly blended or buffed.
I know that the blame will fall on the makeupartist...but what about her friends or personal assistant?
How hard is it to pass a powder puff?

I am just stunned by it! I could not do this blog post fast enough.

I wonder if she touched up in a car and there were no lights. I am trying to be kind...but my first thoughts were it was a rushed and botched job.

The sad thing is....her face & skin looked lovely.
It has been a while since Nicole looked like...Nicole.

Her team should have caught this...or her friends.

When doing makeup for red carpet events the makeup artist works at the hotel/home of the celebrity. Once the celebrity is in the limo, she is on her own to do the last touch up before she gets out of the car. Maybe there wasn't enough light in the limo or Nicole had to rush out of the car... but it is not the MA's fault.

Hmm... one has to wnder out loud if it was some kind of 'powder' that was used in the limo just before her Red Carpet arrival. Surely no makeup artist worth their gloss would ever, ever leave a face looking like that... even the ones that aren't making up an A lister. Just my opinion, but I just can't imagine such a thing being done by the 'help'... unless it was a case of being done purposefully.... then one has to ask why???? Hmm stay tuned me thinks!

She needed my lighted mirror from Armani.

I think what has me not sold on the limo theory...is the fact that the powder is so heavy under the eyes and nose. That...looks more professional...than a random hit from a powder puff.

You know, I wonder if someone used silica powder on her (something like MUFE Hi-Def powder)? I've seen photos where silica powder was used and, while it looks great under normal lighting, the instant a flashbulb hits it, it casts these freaky white patches. Apparently this can happen when the powder is applied too heavily or not blended well (hard to tell under normal lighting because it's so translucent), or if the powder hasn't had long enough to 'meld' with the skin.

Maybe she did some last minute baking.

I really think this is some sort of reflection that bounced onto her. I don't think it is makeup. If you see other pictures, she doesn't look like that. JMHO gang.

Two things come to mind.

Baking or .....
Coke. I love Nichole but this picture cracks me up. I have this image of her backing a blueberry pie and then running off to do some celebrity work.

Oh and the candy, well thats just my own fantasy.

I wish you wouldn't direct people to a misogynist and racist blog like Dlisted - someone else must have had the pictures.

Maybe she forgot to check her face in the mirror. :)

Awrighty: Just so we are on the same page...we are talking about Dlisted the gossip blog? I enjoy his snark. I think he is equally vicious...against everyone. He plays no favorites.
His bite is not for everyone....but he has never come off as a racist to me.

Are you thinking of the D List on Bravo?
