MAC In LillyLand
This a collection inspired by the world of Lilly Pulitzer. The colors are hot pinks and corals with a splash of a Easter grass green. Everything is bright and tropical.
Pearlmatte Face Powder retails for $27. When applied swirled, it leaves a warm bronze glow.
So Sweet, So Easy Cremeblend Blush is a yellow toned pink. This applies very light. Coverage is buildable. It retails for $18.50.
Shift to Pink is a violet lipgelee with silver shimmer. My co-worker, Thais, called it a "shapeshifter lipgloss". We are hardcore True Blood fans. Shift to Pink translates differently on everyone. On me, it morphs metallic pink. On my co-worker, Gela, it is a warm cotton candy pink. The blue cast comes out.
Shift to Pink looks the best on Thais. It is a cold looking violet that looks "lit from within". Almost neon-like.
I am not a fan of the texture of lipgelee. It is slightly tacky. There is also shimmer transfer.
It retails for $14.00.

All the wrong colors for me this time, but what a sweet collection!
I foresee this, however, on the blond/tanned girls of UF, on whom it would look great.
Hi there,
The only thing I bought was Resort Life lip gelee. It actually works well on top of the new (repromoted) 5N lipstick from the "All Races..." collection. Yeah it's sparkly but screw it - it helps me keep the vibe entertaining here at work!
Wow, those lipgelees are super-sparkly . . .I think it's a bit too much for me.
The pale pink blush looks promising, though. It might look nice on my super-pale skin.
Wow that face powder with the lilies is so pretty that I wouldn't want to use it on my face.
I have a feeling more designers will be creating makeup lines with major cosmetic companies.
Lovely colours but not sure if they would work on my skin. Plus the design is so pretty you really dont want to be take the brush and sweep over it.
I love all those colors! perfect for spring! not to mention MAC never disappoints!
I've seen this collection on many of the beauty blogs and am still not convinced it's for anyone over 13! Bubble gum pink and lots of sparkles? Really? Even though the designs are pretty, I'll give this collection a miss.
The violet lippie looked great on everyone in the office!
The colours look fine but I remember back in the day when this kind of collaboration would have made the original artists who came up with the line gag.
MAC has sure lost its' "street cred".
Guess if I new the original guys (Frank and Frank) I'm getting old and senile. :)
Hi Annie! This collection was out at my MAC counter (in Maryland) today, but there was also a set of 8 eyeshadows, one of them in a really stunning blue color. They do not seem to be a part of the collection as you listed it (and they were certainly not a part of the All Races All Sexes collection either). Do you know what they could have been?
