Of course, my mind went to the Oh Mighty Isis.

Oh dood...Isis was the goddess of like, everything. She's more or less remembered as a fertility goddess now I think but she was so much more. I think there are still Isis cults.
That dress however...not doing Anna any favors. It's not just a bad dress, but it looks bad on her. :(
CZJ is a dead ringer for Isis!
I almost loved this dress. In my eyes, it would have been near perfect if the shoulder pieces had been removed. I think that would have framed her face beautifully. The shoulder portion of the dress, in my eyes, overwhelms her features and also the dress itself. When I saw her on The Emmys last night and in the still pics all I see are the shoulders. The dress is such a beautiful creation, but the shoulders just take it over. But I am a housewife from suburbia and this is an Alexander McQueen, what do I know? :)
