More Cavewoman compacts: Orlane, the discontinued Stephane Marais(the line had such great packaging), Paul and Joe, MAC(from the Deneuve collection/currently showing up at your local CCOs), Anna Sui(such great compacts), and the always classic Chanel. What is your favorite everyday powder compact? Please name your favorites in the comments.
Mine: There is something about that wonderful sound a Chanel compact makes when you snap it shut. So satisfying.

I love my Guerlain Meteorites Voyager compact! (the original and the Winter one last year!)
Also admit that my Pink Prada compact is fun to take out of my purse. It's just too cute. They ought to make it refillable.
I know it's a bit gawdy, but I do like the Versace compacts too.
I loved the Versace compacts too, Koneko! But I never did get one. I use that Anna Sui in the photos here mostly for everyday, and these are refillable.
That Orlane is about the size of a CD! It contains a blotting powder. I love a huge compact!
I've never seen the Prada, I imagine that it is lovely.

I really am loving this veritable galleria of compacts! sigh! I really like the Anna Sui, I wish I weren't allergic to it, it's so cute! I might have to try the Paul and Joe, just b/c I love the whimsical package designs!
The Prada compact is fun, cute, and ever so unpractical. It's so light pink. Carrying it in your everyday purse is like wearing pristine white sandals. You know it's going to get smudged, but you just can't help it! ;-) I know a lot of people don't like it very much, but I like how nice and neatly it folds up. Just wish the mirror were part of the leather case. And I really love the foundation inside too!! (This and the Chantecaille powder foundations are the only ones my dry skin will tolerate!)
You must bring that with you on the very first time we get together in your new town! I would love to see it!

Heh, I like the Versace compacts as well. They do look kind-of-sort-of gaudy, but their actually designed with the idea you're going to use them in mind. I love, love, love, the way they do the flip mirror inside. That alone makes them desirable to own.
I love the Anna Sui packaging in general anyhow - they are too awesome looking.
