Rock the Gloss Challenge for Thursday August 3rd 2006:
I decided to wear MAC's Strawberry Blonde with my new YSL Golden Gloss in Golden.
I should have worn Nars Cruella.
Strawberry Blonde is from the Deneuve Icon collection. It is a color that magically looks fantastic on all skin tones.
On me=an apricot flush
On cavewoman=a natural pinkish flush
The golden gloss is very shimmery and adds the right kick.
What lippie did you go with today?

Tarte Double-Ended Gloss in Cliff and Clair. How can I not own a lipgloss duo named after the Huxtables???
Cliff is a rich chocolately brown with golden shimmer. Clair is a soft candy pink with golden shimmer. When combined, they look like your lips ... only better. Awesome!
Bobbi Brown Lip Sheers in Ruby. Okay...technically not a gloss.
Chanel Glossimer in Pagoda. You reminded me of it and I had to wear it. So great!

I'm wearing Cover Girl lip gloss in Diamond Drop from the Queen Collection.It more of a "topper" l/g.I should have worn a lipstick with it but I don't own I lot of lipsticks just ALOT of lip gloss.
I'm wearing the new Colorstay formula in Cashmere with Chanel Glossimer in Twinkle over it. I'm loving what Twinkle is doing with my ho-hum lipcolors--it adds a gorgeous golden pink glow to even the most mundane shades.
Elizabeth Arden Exceptional Lipstick in Shimmer. It's an old GWP that's been kicking around in my closet until recently. Not a particularly frosty one, but more of a beige/terracotta shade with gold flecks and a glossy finish. Don't know if this particular formulation is still available in the States (or anywhere else for the matter) but I'm going to check out the closest EA counter here soon, since I think they always have good neutrals.
(BTW, if I keep this up and I don't go shopping again, I may start borrowing lipstick from my Mom!)
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Lip Gloss in "Rose Sugar" - a pretty, shimmery pink hue!
Stila Wendy (rosy nude) + Armani Lip Shimmer #4 (taupe-lavender) = very interesting light cool-toned color that is almost not pretty, but I like it!

Hi Ladies. I was lazy today. Just a LipFusion liner in Flush and the plumper in Kiss.
Lipstick: Prescriptives Modernista in Excite.
Lipgloss: Bourjois Effets 3-D in Rose Symphonic.
The Modernista is a beautiful pink with slight shimmer, a medium but definitely cool-toned pink. And the gloss is my favorite of the Bourjois, it is a true blue-based pink with multicolored shimmer, very unusual and very glammy!
Duwop venom gloss in buttercup. Plumping, pretty neutral color.
I thought I posted this last night, but I was so tired when I get home from Dayton (shopping) I must have messed it up. I mooched off my mom yesterday. I wore her Estee Lauder High Gloss all day. The color is Blush and it's a beautiful pink. I tend to like colors that brighten up the face, and this is definitely one of them. I think this color flatters many skin tones, which is probably why they were already out of it at Macy's (Lima).
