Lancome Fever Gloss in Intense
Give me back my slippers! I am the only one who knows how to use them! They're of no use to you! Give them back!-Wizard of Oz
Rock the Gloss Challenge for September 15th 2006:
I am wearing a Fever gloss from Lancome in the color Intense.
Koneko described the color as "ruby slippers" on her blog. That is the perfect description!

You know I love shimmer. This is no secret to my readers.
This gloss has the most intense shimmer I have ever experienced. Forget the YSL Golden Glosses, the Christian Diors, the Too Faced or any other lippie for that matter. If you are looking for shimmer on the lips then you need to hit your local Lancome counter.
With Shine-Reflect Technology, ultra radiant shine is revealed
Ingenious Lip Magnify applicator provides even coverage and contours lips with amazing precision for voluptuous plump curves.

The applicator is slanted. This slight tilt makes all the difference in the world in applying lip color. It makes me want to bend all my wands.
What is your lippie today?
Wizard of Oz trivia direct from fiftiesweb.com: The ruby slippers were originally silver, as they were in the L. Frank Baum book. But hey, it's Technicolor and ruby looks better. Speaking of - according to some sources, 7 pairs actually existed. The location of 5 is known. If you're sitting on a missing pair, they're worth about 1.5 million. Dollars.

I'll be making a visit to Lancome :) Have a great weekend.
Ooh I like that gloss.I'll have to go visit it at Lancome:) I have a Milani Lipstick that looks just like it,and it's called Ruby Slippers
I'm wearing Cargo l/g in La La Land.I'm wearing both pinks in the tin.
Who wouldn't love to own a pair of ruby slippers? ;)
Today I'm wearing Paul & Joe lipstick in Confiture de Framboise, which is really more of a peachy rose than a raspberry shade. It's a cheerful color.
I have a pair of ruby shoes( ok not those shoes) but an amazing dolce and gabbana pointiest toe you ever saw , glittery ruby red slingbacks.
not sure what lippie today. hmm, maybe my mac apres sol for dinner out tonight
I have a confession to make. I'm afraid of Intense, but I do love shimmer. Is there another color of the Lancome gloss that is less "intense" no pun intended but still super pretty? (now melanie has me lemming the "Good witch" nail polish!!) Thanks! :)
Today: Kimora Lee Simmons' Fabulosity Glossamer in Mimosa.
anon: They had a nice selection of colors with great shimmer power! It is worth a stop at your local Lancome counter!
I think we all caved on one!
