Seboni Bath and Shower Gels
Imagine a journey through the deep, misty woods of Cornwall with a flowing stream at your feet and the musty scent of rock-covered moss at your nose.
I have been on a frustrating search for a woodsy/incense bath product. I see hundreds of fruit and coffee scented products but rarely see a shower gel that will layer well with my incense fragrances. I fell very hard for a long discontinued amber shower gel from Bath and Body Works. I bought up all the stock I could locate...but that well has run dry.
I was excited to see that the Seboni line offered a product called Ladock Woods. The notes are patchouli, oakmoss, birch, clary sage, orange, vetiver and geranium essential oils. The fragrance geek in me got excited because it is a "chypre".
This specific product is supposed to:
Energize and restore the spirit, counteracts stress and promotes a sense of well being.
Now this did not give me any spunk or drive to get things done around the house. However it did melt away the tension and stress of a long work day. If you knew the stress I had at work...you would realize this was a miracle product.
It comes in a bath& shower gel, body lotion, invigorating bath and massage oils, and essential sea salts.
The other product I tested in this line is called Heligan Haze. It is a herb scent with notes of lavender, sage, thyme, rosemary, juniper, dill, cypress and geranium essential oils. This would have been perfect for the hot summer months. It is crisp and fresh. It will be perfect to layer under my beloved La Base perfume.
There is a great backstory to the creator and owner of the Seboni line.
Sheryl Young(the owner) left NYC for a vacation in Cornwell England to relax and chill from the hectic big apple life. While there....she met a hotelier named Richard Young. A whirlwind romance bloomed and the happy ending was a marriage and the creation of a beauty line.
