Snow-like Lip Glosses

Chanel's Glossimer #92 Glitter
vs
DiorKiss#008 Sorbet Meringue

The Contender:
Chanel's Glitter is from the spring collection. It is a lovely sparkling pearl color in the tube. On the lips it is a sheer wash of opal that glitters.
It packs a very powerful shimmery punch.

During a hand test it appeared that Diorkiss had finally met its match when it comes to sparkling goodness.

The Heavyweight Champion:
DiorKiss is just jammed packed with shimmer and shine.
It is like twinkling snow on the lips.

In the end DiorKiss wins a round in the lipgloss wars.

Annie -

I went to Sephora to check out DiorKiss. It seems too shimmery and childish if you ask me. Its definitely not a classic look, ALOT of shimmer. I suggest using it over a neutral color to bring the neutral color out. But other than that it reminds me of my younger cousins glossy shimmer. Not for me, but can be worn w/ other colors.

Sanx!

DiorKiss are my favorite glosses! Not that I don't like Chanel, mind you, but there's no shimmer quite like Dior.

*sniff* I really liked the Sorbet Meringue, but it irritated my lips something fierce. I don't even have particularly sensitive skin on my lips either! So I think I might try the Glossimer as an alternative. I usually skip my Chanel counter since it's not well staffed it seems, so I didn't even know it existed!

i bought the diorkiss for my sister, i'm pretty sure it's the same color. it's very pretty and appropriate for a sixteen year old, but the glitter is seriously hardcore! i wouldn't wear it, but she loves it!

Dinah: I love it. I am a shimmer fan.

Koneko: I thought Chanel was a contender...but it looses it oomph on the lips.

Hi MG: I wear it over other colors and on bare lips. I do not believe in age limits when it comes to shimmer. Maybe I look silly...but I can not give up my sparkles.
)))MG(((

Patti: I agree...of course!

Katie: You will like this one...but try Wonderland first. That is a fab gloss and I am going through that tube like water.
The glossimers are less gritty now. They are worth revisiting!

anon: Hardcore glitter...I like that term.
