Estee Lauder's Tom Ford Summer Collection
I took some pictures at my local Lauder counter in Cleveland. The Tom Ford Azuree fragrance is sold out.
The beachwood store still has some bottles of the oil left.
The bronzer is the same as last year but in a lovely blue compact. I love this bronzer with a passion.
James said that this collection is it. No more Ford summer collections. The Ford contract is up.
This means if you like anything you might want to stockpile.

James is the best! He located the blush stick I liked at another store! And I may have to cave on that stunning bronzer compact.
Is the bronzer a duo? I want the one that you raved about on your best of 2006 list, but I can't figure out which one it is!
The bronzer is not a duo, and it is supposed to be the same shade as 2006 but in a different compact. Last year's was a ribbed gold compact. This year it's the signature Lauder turquoise color.
The oil and last years pretty bronzer and shadow compacts are at the CCO's!
I nabbed the bronzer in the turquoise compact at an outlet company store a few weeks ago. And the eye shadow duo in turquoise pkg looks the same also. Would they have already sent them there? I guess ending the contract makes the items all that more coveted? But I really liked their collaboration -- am I the only one? Have you read any reasons why? Just wants to move onto next creative adventure? Well, rats.
Tom really loves 'em and leaves 'em, doesn't he? lol.
Stanzi, you said it perfectly! I think Ford must hate women, because of the stink he calls Black Orchid and the 'philosophy' behind the notes in that scent. What he did to Youth Dew Amber Nude was horrible. Makes me wonder what his twelve exclusives smell like. On second thought, maybe I don't want to know!
I tested the azuree body oil and perfume last night (one small beni of a small town dillards ... never any compacts tho) and did not like the scents. Then again, I hate the scent of the nars liquid bronzer that is all over everywhere in the summertime. So, I'm gonna try the SYB tip of J&J body oil gel (she did it with lavender scent but I haven't smelled it yet) mixed with my loose powder bronzer (the hard candy might be too sparkley but I think that's the only loose powder bronzer I have at the moment).
on the pictures the lipsticks look very 'reddish'... I thought they would be more brownish and nude. Is it just the picture and the lighting?
and What? no more Ford-Lauder collaboration and collections? I like their retro-sense of creativity. I google'd and didn't find any rumors about the contract

I'm trying to find the Tom Ford LE Bronzer, but it's very hard.
I've heard it's a dupe of one of EL's existing bronzers. Do you know if that's true? Do any of them swatch similarly?
Please help, as I'm also a pale ghost who really needs a great bronzer. :)
