Estee Lauder's The Heritage Collection
Pictured to the left is a 7 ml parfum bottle of White Linen. This is a aldehydic floral fragrance. It is a sparkly rose violet with a touch of earthy green notes.
White Linen was chosen for the Heritage Collection because it was known as Mrs Lauder's favorite fragrance. "A mother can have eight children and no favorites," she once said, "but I must admit that White Linen was a particularly cherished child."
The White Linen Solid Perfume Pendant was an exact replica of one developed by Estee Lauder. It is a elegant blue enamel globe shaped pendant hanging from a gold plated chain necklace. I love fragrance themed jewelry. I was an avid Avon locket collector as a child. I loved rings filled with solid perfumes. They were both fun and useful.
The Heritage Collection is available at Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue.

That perfume ball is very cool. Do you remember the little Avon cupcake withthe solid perfume? I remember a friend of mine getting it from her grandma and being mighty jealous! It would be fun to collect those Avon solid perfumes now if they were still around... *off to scour eBay*
That necklace is the object of my desire!
White Linen was launched with two other scents, Pavillion and Celadon. Both of them were spectacular. I so wish they'd re-launch them, like Lancome is doing with their older scents.
Lauder, are you reading? Please?
I still have some solid White Linen perfume in a little gold rocking horse. They were routine gifts from my neighbor, the Lauder solid perfumes. When my peers of twelve-year-old girls were wearing Bath and Body Works, I was rocking White Linen and Beautiful. White Linen was always a favorite.
