Chanel Sublimage Serum
This last year my skin has managed to transform itself from oily to parched. I have never suffered dry issues until now.
I have lost my bloom.
I have to fight the wrinkles, discoloration and lack of radiance. I have to get the oomph back in my skin.
Today I got this PR release in my email box and I was instantly hooked. It combats all the issues that I need conquering with a poly-technology. The minute you throw polymer science in the mix...I am grabbing my wallet and handing over a credit card.
I am crazy for the polymers.
Then I spotted the price and paused.
It is $385.
Has anyone tried this? What do you think? Spill the deets in the comments.

Though I haven't tried this product, I do use a lot of Chanel beauty products. I used to use Chanel Hydramax before they changed the formula, and now I use Beaute Initiale Multi-Protection Fluid. This might actually be a good substitute in lieu of spending over $300. It is hydrating, contains an SPF 15, and has a light self-tanner that imparts a subtle glow.
^ I too love Hydramax serum. I never knew they changed the formula...
The price of the new stuff is steep; I wonder if they'd sample it out to you for a try?
have you tried using Advanced Night Repair under your moisturizer during the day and at night? It's simple but makes a huge difference in even the driest skin because it's packed with hyaluronic acid, and there's a newer version - a concentrate - that will even accelerate healing, etc.
Beauty: I use a lot of Chanel too. I love their eye cream. I am very curious about this Multi-protection fluid. A light self tanner would be so great for this summer.
Marsadie: I am going to try to see if I can score a sample at my local Chanel counter. I might bring my own sample jar. LOL
KristyV: I have never tried this. I need to start writing this down.
I have never tried this serum, but I love it when stores send you cards for free samples of products that cost upwards of $300!
I agree with Kristy. The advanced night repair is great. I was hesitant to try it at first, but once I did, I was really happy with the results.
advanced night repair is am amazing fluid. i don;t have problem skin, but my husband has a thousand and 1 allergies, and when one hits his facial skin and he looks like a dried out alligator, he always reaches for the advanced night repair and it never fails to correct what is wrong.
i love both the new sublimage eye and face creams, but they are just a about a hundred bucks too pricey for me, especially when there are other wonderful things on the market, like lancome absolue.
Several facialists have diagnosed my skin as dehydrated but oily, so serums are my saving grace. I'm sure the Sublimage serum is a good product and I would certainly try it if I had some spare cash. I am dealing with my skin issues with Skinceuticals CE Ferulic and the Hydrating B5 gel, both of which work beautifully together. You can get both and even a hydrating B5 mask for the price of a single Sublimage serum. :)
I got a sample of this along with a holiday haul--the sample was teeny tiny and was a little irritating to the eye area. My inclination is to go with a derm's recommendations for the next several months for the little "bloom" that only pharmaceuitcal technology can provide. I love thee, Chanel, but I'm holding off on this one for a while & see how the retinoids work first (they are way cheaper!)
