More Blogdorf Goodman Holiday Gift Ideas

This is a solid perfume compact from Bond 9. It is available in the scents of Chinatown, Andy Warhol Union Square, Chelsea Flowers, Nuits de Noho, The Scent of Peace and Wall Street. It retails for $85 and is available at your local Bond counter at Saks or from the bond website.

The compact is the size of a silver dollar in a brushed gold metal. It looks like a dainty little thing but it is quite substantial. It has a satisfying snap that is crisp and loud. I realize this is not a usual selling point for a solid perfume compact. I just love a great snap!

I was impressed with the quality and strength of the fragrance in wax form. Chinatown is still the same glorious piece of heaven. Nothing has been lost in the translation. The fragrance filled the room as soon as the compact was opened. The actual wax feels like silk instead of candle-like. It is not thick but whispery light.

It is a great stocking stuffer for the fragrance junkie in your life! A lovely scent token!
Call the Bond store at 212-228-8125 or visit http://www.bondno9.com/splash if you decide to cave!

I've been dying to get one of these with The Scent of Peace in it!

As much as I love some of the bonds I have received some extremely poor customer service from them, which has made me decide not to spend my money there again. I think it is sad because I truly do enjoy some of their fragrances.

I want one of these in Union Square badly. I loooove solids and in Bond no less, even better. It looks nice sized in your pic as well.

Maybe when I get into NY next week. Maybe:)

Oh! I. Must. Have. This. I loves me some Chinatown. Seriously, it might just be the most gorgeous perfume I've ever sniffed. And using a solid with a spray on top makes the scent last twice as long.
