A lipstick is worth a hundred words
by Jessica M
If you were a teen girl in the 1980s, you probably saw at least one film starring Molly Ringwald. With her porcelain skin, bright auburn hair, and beautifully full lips, she didn’t look like any other member of the so-called “Brat Pack,” or any other Hollywood starlet past or present. She was sweet and funny, with a unique fashion sense, and she was always a little bit vulnerable too. The trick she performed with her lipstick in “The Breakfast Club” was innocently naughty, but memorable. (And I’m still almost certain it was a lipstick from Ralph Lauren’s short-lived cosmetics line.)
