Holy Grail Lippie
By Jessica M
Everything about Anna Sui’s Gloss Lipstick 703 delights me. I love its Victorian-Gothic packaging, especially the black rose on the cap, and its wearable, romantic shade of brownish rose. I love its gel-like feeling; its balance of pigment, shimmer, and subtle shine; and its soft floral scent. The one problem with this lipstick? It’s discontinued. That makes me cherish it even more.

That looks lovely!
The old Anna Sui line had the most marvelous blue-based purples; I believe there were at least three. This was probably back around 1999-2000. When the line was revamped it wasn't nearly so interesting.
Wasn't that line wonderful, before it was revamped?! They ruined everything: the formulas, the colors, the tube designs. I think that happened in 2003-04. I'm still upset about it.
I don't believe that the product is discontinued. I found her website where all her makeup, perfum, etc... is listed and I believe you can order from there. Here is the website adress: http://www.annasui-cosmetics.com/catalogue/index.htm
Well, I remember when the line was completely switched at Sephora about four years ago, and I still shop at the NYC Anna Sui boutique, where the lipsticks are *nothing* like the ones I loved... in any respect. I don't know what's available in other countries.
