Day 36: Nudes
Nude is a light grayish-yellow brown to a brownish-pink color. The range can go from a peachy apricot to a rose. Nudes are often used as a neutral lippie to accompany intense or smokey eye looks. I own many lipsticks in this color family. My personal favorites are Chanel's Tender and Darling, MAC Sparks Can Fly, Nars Bettina velvet Matte Lip Pencil and Foul Play lipgloss, and Bobbi Brown Pink Raspberry.
Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss Reflect #537 in Stretchy Brown is a sheer caramel with pink micro shimmer.
MAC Cremesheen in Modesty is a pink toned nude. It is a neutral that works so well with smokey eyes or anything intense. The formula is creamy with a slight shine.
Shiseido Perfect Rouge in BE208 is an apricot nude.
Shiseido Perfect Rouge in PK 303 is a pink based nude with no shimmer or sheen. It has great depth and pigment.
Estee Lauder Azuree Coral is a unique nude. It is equal parts coral and nude.
Estee Lauder Azuree Nude is a white out nude. I have never worn it successfully.
Armani Silk High Color Cream Lipstick in 55 is a pink based nude that goes slightly yellow on the lips.
Bobbi Brown Almost Bare is super sheer nude with glitter flecks
Estee Lauder High Gloss in Ivory is a milky nude with gold shimmer.
Estee Lauder High Gloss in Honey is a sandy nude with a bronzey shimmer sheen.
MAC Lipgelee in Who's That Lady is a shimmery pink based nude. This has more shimmer than a dazzleglass. This is one of my all time favorite lippies ever!
DiorKiss in 418 Hazelnut Lychee is an ultra-sheer toffee nude with a pink metal sheen.
Chanel Glossimer in Sarong is "hardcore" pigmented. The shade is a rose toned nude with gold sheen.
Bourjois Effect 3D Les nudes in 33 Brun Poetic is a milky, slightly grey nude with shimmer
MAC 3D Glass in Energy is a sheer peach puff shade with pink micro shimmer
MAC 3D Glass in Synched Up is a sheer apricot nude with green micro shimmer
MAC Lipglass in Majestic is a champagne nude with micro gold shimmer
MAC Lipglass in 1N is a pigmented milky beige
MAC Lipglass in Elegant Peach is a sandy nude
MAC Lipglass in Illicit is a pink nude. This lippie has great pigment. High marks!
MAC Lipglass in 2N is a yellow based nude.
MAC Bare Truth is a caramel with a slight pink shimmer.

That Bourjois is my all time favorite gloss! I'm happy to see it included in your Nudes review!
Nude are not usually the type of lip color I can wear. I have learned to try them, though. YSL Rouge Volupte in #3 Ultimage Beige is just about as far as I can go into nude territory!
Some faves (but always with some form of gloss over them because I am palepalepale) are
MAC's Myth and Blankety
Chanel's Tender and Naive, Formentera if I want something more gold. Also, if I'm running out the door, the Aqualumiere Gloss in Bon Bon is perfect!
I am obsessed with nude lispticks, although my collection must be around 40 - 50 I continue to buy them, ever searching fo rthe perfect nude. Some of my favourites are MAC 3N (I wish I had bought a back up!), YSL Rouge Volupte in Honey, MAC Marquise'd, Nars Honululu Honey...etc, etc, there are too many to name!
Does anyone have a recommendation for a brown-pink lipstick? I'd like it to be more matte than shimmery...Thanks!
Ooh! That Shiseido apricot peach looks gorgeous! I will have to go look at it in person. And the Diorkiss probably would never have caught my eye in store, but now that I look at it, it looks quite pretty.

I had a Clinque one I loved too but it ran out long ago and now I can't remember what it was called :( I'll have to try out some of these ones instead, I guess!

I always need a little pink in my nudes! My new favorite is Neutrogena Moistureshine lipstick in Everything Rose. It's mostly neutral, with a hint of rosey pink.

I love NARS Sabrina Lip balm... it smells delicious, moisturises, has SPF 20 to protect and has a nude pinky colour to it. Gorgeous.

Like Ptti I adore that Bourjois gloss, the Nude series is really flattering on me - and I'm not a gloss person.
My all time favorite nude is YSL Personel Rouge # 3. So pretty one me.
That apricot Shiseido looks divine. I can't wait for those to arrive in my corner of the world.
Laura Mercier's Sheer Nude is my favorite. Perfect. So smooth and clean.
My favorite nude is actually MAC Cremesheen/Modesty. It doesn't wash me out and works perfectly with a smokey eye.
I have MAC's Modesty on back order right now. Great color choices!
