Purple Rite is the stand out color in the Style Warrior collection. It is a frosty yet slightly warm orchid shade. I will be honest and say that I expected a Violetta dupe based on the initial pictures. This lippie is a wearable and a slightly quiet purple shade. I am currently wearing it with a layer of Sugarrimmed dazzleglass to add just a smidge of sparkle and jazz. It retails for $14 and can be currently found at your MAC counter.
My early thoughts on this collection is mixed. It has a very Peter Beard/Veruschka/early Iman vibe. The yellow shadow(Bright Future) is pretty magnificent. I can only imagine what Nova Baby and Judica can do with this shade.
I will be testing and photographing this collection for the rest of the week.
The next post will be about the nail polish called Mercenary.
At this very moment it is being applied to my co-worker's nails.

Well, I know where I'll be headed this afternoon. MAC is always such a crapshoot, though. I haven't liked anything from the last two collections, but two lipsticks and one gloss appear promising here.
I still do not understand the difference in textures with the glosses. How is it that some Lipglasses are sheer and others are thick and balm-like?
Can't wait for your reviews.
I'm currently trying to decide which one (or if I want both) of the beauty powders I want!
I agree with Elle..I think I'm going to get the Beauty Powders..Also some of the lipglasses look nice. Not sure if the yellow one is too similar to golyrocks? Ur opinion on that? Also, great site...been keeping up with it for a while now..my first comment!
Oh Annie, this collection was a total miss. Eyeshadow textures were off, and the lip colors were less than flattering. When will MAC release another stellar collection?
I'm very excited for Brave New Bronze lipstick and the Pink Rebel Lustre Drops - some of the eyeshadows do look lovely, but I just splurged on some of the Lauren Luke palettes and can't justify paying more money for these right now! I am taking a class at MAC on June 4th, though, and I may be tempted again then :) I'm excited to see what else you have to show us, Annie! :)
