Daisy Summer Piper

Daisy summer pipers come to town
Piping people out of doors
To see the magic all around
Listen now you'll hear his sound
Stare into a mirror pool

And laugh so princely vain
The skies become kaleidoscopes
With no two turns the same
(Joni Mitchell)

Summer Scents with Blogdorf Goodman: Estee Lauder's Pure White Linen Pink Coral Fragrance

Estee Lauder launched a White Linen flanker called Pure White Linen Pink Coral. All of the linens are based on the idea of crispness, freshness, blue skies and spring breezes.
Lauder has tweeked this original idea with notes that evoke water. It contains apple blossoms, waterfruits and clear aldehydes. The aldehydes are slightly muddled. Somehow, Lauder has managed to harness the boldness and spark of this note.
The heart of the fragrance contains sweet pea (very strong), cherry blossom and pink peony. The drydown is quite lovely with a haze of heliotrope, vanilla and sandalwood.

It launches this month and will be available at your local Estee Lauder counter. Visit http://www.esteelauder.com/ for more details.

Above is a picture of Gwyneth Paltrow...but does it not look like a young Meg Ryan?

I usually love Estee Lauder scents, and this new line seems lovely. During the summer there is nothing better than diving into a pool or stepping into the ocean, so I like that the scent is meant to evoke water. I've been looking for something a little lighter than what I've been wearing. Thanks for the review!

I love fresh crisp scents!! Thank you so much for bringing this one to my attention. I noticed that you have a blogroll on the right side of your page. I've had my blog for almost a year now and want to increase traffic to it. Do you think you could post it up? http://voguealamode.blogspot.com/

I was gonna say. Airbrushing much? Sheesh. There's doctored, then there's stylized, and maybe they were going for stylized, but this is just creepy.

I agree with the other posters - that pic looks nothing like G.Paltrow.

Gosh, I didn't even think that was Gwyneth Paltrow.

I have to say, celebrity endorsements probably more often than not, but in this case, I'm the not. I have no respect for her as an actress, and that silly GOOP stuff is annoying. If the perfume is really great I'll still buy it, but I'm much less likely to pick it up and try if there's a spokesperson I don't like.
