I went to the event in Seattle and really wanted something funky and fun but that's not what I got at all. I was a little disappointed in my look but I had fun anyhow.

On topic: Neiman Marcus Ala Moana is a nice place for a makeover event like this - great staff, lots of space, excellent lighting. I haven't bought anything at the Shu counter - and probably won't any more, since I moved "off the rock" - but I would LURVE to see somebody trying out those crazy falsies! Especially the paperclip-shaped lashes, and the ones with rhinestones!
She is hitting Eastern PA next round, so I hope to go then. I am totally for major falsies etc. Looking forward to hearing if anyone hits these stops.
Shannon: I am not sure. These type of events sometimes require a fee that goes toward a purchase. Call your local store and ask. Most of the time they just hope that you love the makeover and purchase the products.

We do have a lovely park system that would be perfect for any running events and such. As for swimming...Lake Erie still might not be that safe. There are no sharks..but maybe some large catfish.
