DuWop's Revolution Face
You say you want a revolution
Well you know
We all want to change the world
I was satisfied with my Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer until I tested this. This is a sheer lightweight moisturizer with a light reflecting pigment. The light reflecting pigment works with a satin matte finish to give a balanced look that is never greasy and helps conceal fine lines.
I was a sucker for the glow it gave me. It actually made me look radiant and well rested. This is a miracle considering....I am exhausted and beat.
It is very hydrating, has a SPF 15 and comes in 6 colors.
Nanci: ivory
Caitlin: palest beige (this is the one I am using)
Tara: light beige
Conchita: dark beige
Lauren: deep tone
It is available at Sephora, beauty.com, Henri Bendel and Fred Segal.
It retails for $28.

I wish this came in vat size.

Ooh, nice. If I weren't already happy with my HG foundation, I would be all over that. I love glowing.
this stuff is TERRIFIC! I got a sample of Nanci and it's definitely FTW :-)

Aargh. I just ordered Tara. Let's hope it's not too cool for this warm woman!
Hi,
my name is Andrea and I,m a faithful reader of your blog - might it be lip glosses, primers or mascaras ;-)
I,m really tempted to try this moisturizer/foundation, would be the first time that I,ll try something of Duwop! My daily foundation is from Becca called "Luminous Skin Colour in Porcelain/Sand/Cashmere (depends of the season) which is rather a tinted moisturizer.
Tania, what is your HG foundation (if I may ask)?
Yours,
Andrea
I tried this in Caitlin, and while I liked it, I still prefer Stila's TM. I think it's the best...but I haven't yet tried the illuminating version, which I think gives a bit more glow like DuWop does (one of the things I liked about DuWop).
This product is actually called Revolotion", not revolution.
anon: I know.
I thought it would be cute to do a Beatles song with it.
I am corny that way. LOL
tbone: It is lovely and very light. I am impressed.
Sara: I was surprised! I had no idea that Duwop was that good. It makes me want to explore the entire line.
Miss Manners: I hope you got it from Sephora! They are wonderful with returns.
Andrea: I love Becca products!
I have never tried the Becca tinted moisturizer so I can not compare. I can say that Duwop gives the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer a run for its money. It also has a lovely scent. I forgot to mention that in my review.
Annie, I did order from Sephora. I live in a dusty border town with very few brands, so Sephora online is my salvation. It's so hard buying foundation type products that way, but Sephora is always very kind and understanding about those pesky returns. I've got my fingers crossed that the shade will work.
Ooh, I guess I know what I'm trying next!
what a lucky find! I have been trolling the internet for good TM recomendations and just happened to come across your site. I'm headed off to Sephora right now on my lunchbreak!
Is it non-comedogenic? I have some but I am afraid to put it on my chin, I don't want to break out!
anon: Sorry I am so late to this post. I searched my bottle and saw no "non-comedogenic" labels or promises. I will try to find more.
