Rock the Gloss Challenge for Saturday August 5th 2006:
Today I wore my first purchase since the challenge. I decided to cave on....
Revlon's Colorstay in Raspberry Mousse. It is an intense fuschia in the red family. Very wearable and not overpowering.
This is a PattyG recommended product. The quality is worth all the raves. It is the texture and pigment that sets this apart from the other lippies on the market. I am very impressed and will spend more time playing
in the colorstay section.
What is your lippie today? How well does it last through the day?
Some Blogdorf notes:
1. I will catch up on the comments this afternoon.
2. Has anyone ever participated in a book club? How does it work?
I am *thinking* of trying to do a beauty book club here.
3. Tomorrow cavewoman and I meet up with our Cleveland gang. Have any suggestions for new products to check out?

Standing ovation for PattyG, who told me about the new Revlon ColorStay Soft & Smooth, and recommended this Raspberry Mousse shade! It is gorgeous!
Today:

Lipstick Chanel Paparazzi
Lipgloss MAC Petit Four Lipglass
hi!
I will be scurrying to my nearest CVS to check out these new Revlon lipsticks! Today:
Chanel Aqualumiere Tijuana mixed w/Prescriptives Satin Slip.
I was in a book club for 15 years. I would be happy to tell you all about it!
cheers, Sara
I normally don't do clubs or other group activities, but a beauty book club might be just the thing for me.
Today: Chanel glossimer in Blush. They always discontinue my favorite colors, and this is my last tube of this brownish plum.
The lips are naked today.
*horror movie music chord*
I was so jealous to learn of the shopping trip with Cavewoman (one of my favorite friends of all time) that I ate off all my lipstick. I had been wearing a Cat Cosmetics gloss in Roar, but it's all chewed off now. Envy is such a nasty thing!
Hello,
I'm wearing:
MAC Cork l/l
Smashbox overexposure lipstick pencil in Smashing Pix
Loreal CJ in Twinkled Pink
I belong to a book club. It's fun and I think a Beauty book club would be fabulous!!
J
Count me in... I'd love to be in a beauty book club.
Yea! I think a beauty book club sounds wonderful!!
Nothing on the lips today... just a little Aquaphor, but it's shiny and softening! =)
I'm so hyper... I'm so excited for tomorrow!
Patti: PattyG never misses with her recs.
You are going through a red period. It is time for that red lipstick week. I am ready to dip my toe in the red lippie world.
anon: You will love them S! They have a great texture. Very creamy and they last pretty well.
Tell me about Tijuana. Is it a coral?
I will write you about the book club. I have never been in one and have no idea how it would work on a blog.
Hugs!!!
NonBlonde: I bet that glossimer is/was pretty. A brownish plum gloss would be a killer shade. Perfect for this fall.
If this beauty book club actually happens...trust me...it will be very laid back. I hope at least to get a handful of people interested.
We shall see.
tbone: You are so fast. Your poor stage mother. People will talk.
Miss Manners: Cavewoman is the best! I promise a full blog report on Monday.
rebelle: That is a great lippie!!!
I will start working and researching this idea. I am glad there are people interested in doing it!!!!
Carla: Great! I will let you know the details...when I get it together.
BTW: I owe you an email ASAP.
Koneko: Me too!!!!!
I'm behind on the lippie thing, my days & nights are mixed up. Anyways... I don't know how a book club is supposed to work, although I would love to participate in one through Blogdorf Goodman. I love reading, especially beauty books. Just let me know the details. I think it's a great idea:)
Hi Dana,
I did not see a new primer. Was it called secret finish? I did see that but did not get close enough to try it.
