According to January's issue of Vogue, there is a waiting list at Bergdorf Goodman for Lancome's Pixel Pink. This is the limited edition lipstick from the Thakoon spring show. This might be the most wearable and most certainly the last lippie from the Gucci Westman/Lancome collaboration. Westman has announced that she is moving on. My uneducated guess is that we will be seeing her launch her own line of cosmetics. She has her finger on the pulse of what beauty junkies need and covet. I am hoping that Lancome continues to work with a makeup artist and develop lippies that make us all bombard the stores with orders and general begging.
As for Pixel Pink...this lippie looks so darn pretty and fresh.
Call Bergdorf Goodman and get on the Pixel Pink train at (212)872-2740.

The color looks perfect for spring! By the way, I hope she launches her own line- the sky is the limit for her...

I actually like it. It's a nice shade
Nice blog. Would you be interested in exchanging links?
Well working in the cosmetics business I heard that Gucci's work didn't increase the sales figures for Lancôme. Somehow she didn't get the public's attention with her product designs. I wonder what direction they'll go into now? Maybe back to the type of very successful looks Fred Farrugia used to make. I saw the new Lancôme spring collection last week and it's nothing to write home about. The "star-product" is so boring.. A bit of aqua eyeshadow with an extra "magic" color that can change the look of the aqua..
Gorgeous!! i can't wait.
I have to agree with the comment from Anonymous. Gucci's Lancome collections were cutsey, not at all what I associate with Lancome's sophisticated branding. I didn't buy anything from Lancome in the past few years *except* Gucci's brilliant Limited Edition lipstick collaborations. Good luck and best wishes to her.
I agree that Gucci's stuff is nothing to write home about. I have returned several of the recent products I've bought. The collections used to excite me, now it's just all about packaging. How many cutesly eyeshadow compacts do I need? And the Color Fever lipstick is much better in Europe.
