Day 25, MAC Kitschmas Pigment
Kitschmas is a silverish lilac pigment that gives just a subtle dose of frozen violet shimmer.
This popular pigment has a slightly chunky and grainy texture. This means that the wearer has to deal with serious fallout issues. Many MUA members recommend mixing medium and MAC paints to help minimize any messes.
This pigment was relaunched in the Originals collection along with the famous Parrot. Both did not survive long at the counters.
At one point this pigment went for over 100 dollars on Ebay...
Was it worth the hype? Or does it pale in comparison to other MAC pigments.

I want to start using pigments but I'm finding it too time-consuming.
I love, love, love this colour!
I often use at as my standard: not neutral, but shimmer/sparkle "a little more" option.
(Plus, it matches OPI's "Princesses Rule!" perfectly.)
I don't find the Mac pigments time consuming at all. They are easy as pie: just dab a bit on a finger and apply and blend that way. When buying one, I often split them with a friend, because a little goes such a long, long way.

I found that these pigments go on beautifully effortlessly and with no fallout when mixed with Paula Dorf's transformer. This makes an especially nice eyeliner.
I love Pigments, but Kitschmas is not a favorite - it's much too cool and silvery for me. However, I do love many of other colors.
