This is what I imagine Japan to smell like. The fragrance is dry woods, greens and incense. It is crisp and moody. I was instantly smitten. This scent is currently at Luckyscent and retails for $145.
Nail Color: Parlez-Vous OPI? This shade is a smoky violet. It really survived a really rough week at work. It dulled a smidge but there are no chips.
Beauty Lemmings: I need a shimmer pink powder to replace my Chanel Rose Blossom pressed powder.
What are you loving this week?: I am loving a new Sensai primer and foundation(reviews are forthcoming) and Exceptionnel de Chanel Intense Volume and Curl mascara. My local SA hooked me up with a sample. It has transformed my lashes with just a jiggle of the wrist and my Tarte lash curler. I did cave on the Givenchy mascara but have not tested it yet. I am waiting for the weekend.

If you love Hinoki, you must try two things: Kyoto from the incense Comme des Garcons series, and the BURN Liquid Hinoki Temple Incense hand cream.
I love all 3 to death and find that they compliment each other perfectly.

Lippie: Napoleon Perdis goddess in Hess - The only lippie I've ever came close to using up.
Fragrance: L'Artisan Mimosa mixed with Vanille. The mimosa is sweet but the Vanilla is a bit smoky.
Nail Color: OPI, You Don't Know Jacques, I bought it because of the name but I love the color.
Beauty Lemmings: Mascara, I try to use the drugstore variety when I can because I know I will be tossing it it two months but I love a good mascara. Whether it's Lancome or YSL or Dior they all are great.
What are you loving this week?: La Mer TM and powder, and my new Anastasia brow kit. Im playing around with the stencils to apply the brow powder (my lashes are white blonde, I bought the golden blonde kit) and they end up looking perfect.

LOVING THIS WEEK: My new L.A.M.B. shoes, that I will be taking out of their little box and wearing tonight in San Francisco.
The Givenchy Phenomen Mascara is tragically a lot of hype. The formula is somehow too wet, so if you like to build volume with multiple applications you are going to have to wait sometime to do so. On to the ball itself, I am all about beauty innovations but this just isn't where it is at. The ball ends up gunking up my outerlashes, seriously I have tried to apply it in a way that doesn't result in getting mascara all over the outer corner of my eyelide/ turning my outerlashes into prickly eyelash spears but I have had no such luck. Finally the only plus to the ball is that coating the bottom lashes is super easy; however the mascara’s wet formula ends up running about an hour after bottom lash application. I hate it, I have resorted to using the wand from an empty Lancome Hypnose to apply it to my top lashes and some old Loreal mascara on my bottom lashes. This is why I don’t stray from my beloved Lancome Mascara’s, biggest beauty bust this year. I will be interested to hear what you think about this mascara. Love your blog!

What are you loving this week?: I used my Dior Iridescent Leather quint finally, as a way to celebrate the start of school. It's fantastic, so much so that I want a back-up, which I never ever feel! Also, GA eyeliner pencil #4 - I've found my HG black eyeliner!
