Do We Need Any More Orgasms?

The answer is yes.

This arrived in my email box yesterday. As a fan of the blush and The Multiple, this is exciting news. Let us know if you are looking forward to this Orgasm flanker in the comments.

Straight From Nars: Introducing ORGASM ILLUMINATOR, a scintillatingly sheer, weightless fluid that instantly makes skin refreshed, radiant and glowing. Flecks of gold, peach and pink shimmer softly diffuse light, melting into the skin to allow natural luminosity to shine through. (sounds pretty)

Apply ORGASM ILLUMINATOR all over the face for a barely-there, healthy glow. (This is a recipe for disaster for me!)Use as a highlighter for a glimmering accent on the cheekbones. Layer it under, over, or mix directly with NARS Foundations for added overall brilliance. Wear it on the neck, shoulders or décolleté for a silky, subtle, eye-catching sheen.

The ORGASM ILLUMINATOR, a new product category for NARS, joins the cult-followed collection of NARS Orgasm-hued products, which includes Blush, Lip Gloss, Nail Polish and The Multiple. Revered by makeup artists and consumers worldwide, NARS Orgasm products have been the recipient of numerous beauty accolades.

NARS ORGASM ILLUMINATOR contains raspberry and black currant; bisabolol; Indian Frankincense, Panthenol and Sodium Hyaluronate. (This could smell fabulous!)It is non-comedogenic.

Nars Orgasm Illuminator retails for $29.00 and will be available February 2010 at Sephora.

This sounds basically the same as Clinique's Up Lighting Illuminater. Love it mixed with liquid foundation! I'll have to put this on my list to try next!

Looks promising... I could see myself using this one as a highlighter. Not sure about smearing it all over my face, though!

K: I will have to seek out that Clinque!

CC: I agree 100%! I would like to replicate the way Amber is wearing it!

Yeah, I'm buying that. My poor dry skin LOVES liquid illuminators, and there is NO such thing as too many orgasms =)

Orgasm is not a good color for me so I'll have to pass. However, I love that NARS is using Amber Valetta for their latest campaigns. So nice to show 35+ beauty!

Oh my gosh! It sounds like a good product. Hope it will suit my skin color!

I concur with anon re: Amber and 35+ women still being acknowledged as beautiful by cosmetics companies. MOST excellent, and about time.

The obvious lipliner puzzles, though. *shudder*

Isn't this product already available @ sephora? I love Amber but did you see the dark lipliner?

It is already available on line at Sephora--I purchased it two weeks ago. Looking forward to trying it ou!

Ugh, they made Amber Valleta look so old with that awful lipliner and contoured blush in the promo pic.

This is one of those products I MUST try... and I agree about having Amber Valetta as the model for this. I love NARS products...

Reminds me of Revlon Soft Lights. Or even better Ultima II highlighters! Remember those?

LOL @ "Orgasm flanker." :)

This sounds like a much better bet for me than the Multiple was (the Multiple was waaaaaaaay too dry).
