Something Wicked Comes This Way

Chanel's Les Vernis Nail Colour in Diabolic

This is one of the nail polishes in the Noirs Obscurs collection. This shade is not a vamp dupe. This is less red and more of a boozy plum. I am officially a diabolical disciple!
It retails for $23 and will be arriving at the counters in November.

In the pictures it looks just like the color on my nails right now - Essie's Damsel in a Dress.

Can you please give us your thoughts on the current season of Gossip Girl? I know, it usually takes the show a good six episodes (maybe even half a season?) to warm up, but so far, I'm not feeling it....

I'm loving Serena's wardrobe. They've got her hippie freefall/downward spiral pegged.

I like that they're letting Vanessa dress better.

I just don't find the current storylines interesting. The show has taken on the pace of plot point-plot point-plot point with no exposition. It's never been strong with exposition and pacing, but now it did used to have storylines that could be successfully carried out for a season or a half-season. Now I can see the light at the end of the tunnel as soon as a plot development is introduced.

Excuse the ramble. I'm a huge GG fan, and I hate to see the things I'm loyal to disappoint me.

More Chuck/Blair!

The Kindly one:

I am not in rapture either. I want and except more fire from Blair and Chuck. I do not understand why they went all PG on us. They spoiled us with steam and now it is just pecks.
The chemistry is still there though. It just radiates off of those two.

The wardrobe choices are always interesting. When Serena is struggling, her skank factor rises. When Blair struggles...her hair gets tighter or the headbands get large.
They are putting a lot of clothes on Chuck. His character uses the suspenders and bow ties as armor. I think they want him to look snug and confined in his clothes.

They have made improvements on Vanessa but it is not matching her character. I expect converse and concert tshirts. I thought she would go more hipster.
Dan's style change is on point and perfect.

I think Little J's look is also perfect for the character. I know many disagree.

Nate is just lovely and they just need to make his cluelessness more evident. Think Jason on True Blood.

Georgina needs to be part of the cast. Blair's roomate needs to change weekly as a plot device or go the Felicity route. Give her a goth girl.
