Tocca's Florence Fragrance Review
"She is so sensual that most men must have a mad desire to tear off her clothes. However, they do not even dare to take her hand because she looks so distinguished, natural and discreet."-- actor Cary Grant on Sophia Loren
Italian Bergamot underlines the wild nature of this fragrance, while blue iris and crushed violet petals counterbalance its strong feminity with sophisticated and romantic notes. Style and unpredictability-as for every Italian Diva-resurface through the long lasting bottome notes of blonde wood and skin musks.
I am testing Tocca's Florence today. It is a warm citrus based scent. The Bergamot is deep and rich with a touch of sweetness. There is a touch of green in the drydown. My co-worker states that the fragrance makes her long for a vacation. There is something very relaxing about this scent. You can see yourself on a boat in the mediterranean having a gelato.
The notes are Italian Bergamot, Grapefruit Leaves, Blue Iris, Crushed Violet Petals, Blonde Wood and Skin Musks.

This has all the notes I like in a fragrance. I'll have to try it!
While leaving the Russian Tea Room after a business lunch about seven years ago, my coworkers and I ran into Sophia Loren doing the same. What a beauty! She hadn't had any work done, as far as I could see. Her face was crossed with the lines of decades of bright smiles, warm with a tan, and her hair was wavy and tousled in her usual style. Her figure was fantastic, she was dressed in unerring chic, and she paused to give a high-wattage smile to the photogs crouching in wait on the sidewalk. I'm pretty jaded by celeb sightings in NYC, but that one made my whole decade. She was so lovely *I* wanted to kiss her.
Sounds lovely!
I love your blog - especially your product reviews - and want to make a quick suggestion. Would you consider putting a link to the primer challenge wrap up and the Mascara Madness wrap up, etc...on your side bar? Would love that!
Glambee: It is quite lovely. Let us know what you think.
tbone: She is stunning. Sun and spaghetti have worked for her.
However...pasta has trashed my figure. LOL
jennifer: It is a very great idea. Do you know how it can be done? If you do know...email me. Just a warning: I am not very clever with the computer.
Shucks, I have no idea. I am completely Blogger-challenged.
