Day 9: More gushing on Dick Page's Genius
What if there were no other lipstick on the world?(Quote from Dick Page in Vogue)
There is a great blurb on the new Dick Page lipsticks in the March issue of Vogue. It appears that Mr Page's goal was to "create the ultimate lipstick wardrobe"-one that a woman reaches for each morning, in the same way she does a favorite piece of jewelry or a pair of shoes". I think he nailed it.
His rose nudes are essential in any lipstick collection. They are like the lippie version of the classic black dress. The lippies are flattering and impossibly chic. The fuchsia is a blue based Schiaparelli pink. It is eye popping.
There are 20 shades ranging from reds to a Tang juicy orange. They retail for $25 and can be found at your local Shiseido counter.

Nothing I could wear, but the Dragon looked sublime on the model.
Bubblegum, on the other hand, largely contributed to the other model's looking as if she had a really bad cold.
I got venetian rose, and it's the most beautiful mauvey color ever- it's going to be my spring lipstick (well, to be rotated with lavendar whip!)
Is this better than YSL Rouge Volupte? I'm asking about the texture, not the colors.
I tried Valentine and loved the eye-popping red! They also go really well with the smoothing lip pencils they brought out as well. I just like how these lipsticks are hydrating and silky feeling.
The Perfect Rouge lipsticks are definitely my favourite lipsticks of this year. Great color, pigmentation, and performance. Cannot get enough of Fuchsia.
I adore his pink and rose nudes too. I bought Pink Mesa and Almond Pink so far and they are amazing shades. I've got my eye on spiced cream, titian and serenity next!
Marley! I chose that shade, too! It's gorgeous!!
I'm in love with RD514 Dragon! In Australia, Shiseido were giving away deluxe samples of this shade and 2 others (a beige and a pink). When I say deluxe I really mean do deluxe! They were the half the size of a normal lipstick! Yesterday I went and bought OR418 Day Lily and the next shade is definitely RD516.
