MAC's Earthy Harmony Nail Lacquer
I have fallen for the mouse-like charms of Earthy Harmony from MAC cosmetics. This is a nail shade from the Nail Trend F/W 2010 collection. It is really not surprising considering I am a taupeaholic and great lover of the murky and twisted.
Earthy Harmony is a greyed taupe with some copper sass and flash. Very attractive in and out of the bottle. The shimmer cast is so subtle. I can hardly detect it in full sunlight. I have a two coat application. I am traditional that way. One coat was crazy and surprisingly efficient. Great pigment and depth. The bottle retails for $13.00($15.50 CDN) and is available at your local MAC counter. The nail polishes are pretty fabulous from this collection.

I haven't, but that Rain of Flowers is awfully tempting. Too bad I'm back to being a broke student who probably can't afford to splurge on MAC nail polish.
I picked up three of the nail lacquers (Earthly Harmony, Jade Dragon, & Imperial Flower) and I must say I adore them! They apply nicely and with a top coat look super shiny and great for fall :-)
I had a look at the new MAC colours and agree they are lovely colours. MAC nail polishes are just too expensive and I have recently found American Apparel nail polishes. They have all this seasons colours, grey, taupe, pink taupe AND they are also 3 free as well. They are priced at $6.95 or 3/$18.00 and come in a lovely square, flat bottle. The colours last quite well. Why pay more?
I didn't know about this... but I think I must have Rain of Flowers! You know I can never resist any black-violet idea.
I have Earthly Harmony on my toes and thought of you as I put it on! :) I must admit, my sister had it on her nails and I think I like it better on hands, although it is very pretty either way and perfect for fall. I also have Imperial Flower and am planning to test it out today - very exciting! :) These two polishes were my one MAC splurge all summer, as I have been saving and waiting patiently for Venomous Villains :) Kings, I actually have my must-have MAC items for the fall incorporated into my student budget! :P Who needs food, anyways?
I love this all pretty hardcore. I may have to order the taupe and the green shade. So pretty!
Ming Blue and City are fabulous! I really like all of the colors in this collection :)
I can't get enough of the taupe or the "murky" either :)
