Estee Lauder's Pleasures Delight

This is a very different fragrance from the Lauder company. This is a gourmand based scent with added touches of florals. There are moments when I sense a homage to the infamously popular Angel with it's rich caramel and patchouli dry down. However, the opening combination of strawberry meringue, pomegranate and heliotrope mark it unique among the Angel-like peers. This is all sugar and sweetness. There is no spice, no garbage scent vibe(a common complaint among Angel haters) and no earthiness. If you want a grown up version of Pink Sugar ---this is the fragrance for you.

1.7 oz retails for $45, 3.4 oz retails for $65.

It is currently at your local Estee Lauder counter.

Top Notes: Juicy Pomegranate, fresh Greens and dewy Freesia combine with the fruity taste of whipped Strawberry Meringue to delight the senses.

Middle Notes: A heavenly bouquet of flowers enriches the heart. Soft petals of White Peony and Lily blend with fresh Muguet and tender Heliotrope to create a delectable floral confection.

Base Notes: Warm, delicately sweetened notes of Sugared Rose Petals, tempting Caramel, fluffy Marshmallow and Vanilla meld together, forming the delicious dry down. Touches of Patchouli balance the creamy gourmand feeling.

I just bought this fragrance a couple of days ago, and I'm "in love" with it!! I can't stop smelling myself. I'm very picky when it comes to fragrance and this one is incredible. It's a gourmand fragrance (based on edible scents) and smells nothing like the original Pleasures. It lasts a really long time, and gets better the longer you have it on. My husband loves it! The girl at Bloomingdale's Estee Lauder counter said that men are loving it. Try it.

I hate Pleasures, but I smelled Pleasures Delight in a magazine and ran out to buy some. It smells heavenly!
