Day 32 Chanel Glossimers
Are you a Glossimer Girl?

The chic square tube, the polished gold band, the elegant black cap with the signature logo in white on the top, it's all about the beautiful Chanel Glossimers. With dozens of shades and shimmer variations, with coverage from the sheerest hint of color to full-out liquid-lip coverage, there's a Glossimer for just about every gloss style preference. Although I have seven of them, I can't say I reach for these very often, because of that sponge-tip applicator. When I use my Glossimers, I apply as much as I can with the sponge-tip to the back of my hand, and work from there with a lip brush to apply the gloss to my lips. It's time consuming and messy. But there are some Glossimer shades that I just can't duplicate in any other makeup line, like the gorgeous shimmery mauve called Delight, or the pretty, warm-red of Coco Mademoiselle. That one was part of a limited edition set that also included a matching nail polish. Pink Ribbons is my all-time favorite of all of the Glossimers. And just ask Ms. Blogdorf if you want to hear the raves for Astral!
Chanel Glossimers have a smooth texture and feel lightweight on the lips. There's no stickiness or migrating at all. And for a gloss, they last surprisingly long on the lips, whether worn alone or over a favorite lipstick shade. Fans of the Glossimers will tell you that it's hard to stop collecting these pretty glosses once you start!

My favorite Glossimer is Summer Plum!
None of the Glossimers was ever the right color for me! All too light (I don't like to wear gloss over lipstick as a general rule).
I had the same problem with the YSL Golden Glosses, although I'd be interested in hearing how the two stack up on wear. The YSL don't last a wink on me.

I own about 10-15 Glossimers =D I am DEFINITELY a Glossimer Girl! I cannot wait to get my hand on Meteore! =) I'm also lemming Summer Plum and Unity.

I'm not a gloss girl at all. I'm a lipstick girl, first and forever. This said I have half a dozen glosses, none of them Chanel.
This is one of those products that I have yet to try but am DYING to get my hands on (and once I do, wil probably hunger for more!)- for now, I'm using the Dior Addict Glosses in Jersey Pink and Stretchy Brown and I covet them jealously :P
I'm very excited! I own four and am building up my collection. My favourite is Gold Light.

What started as a one-time impulse purchase (Sundress) has escalated into more than a dozen! Every time I think I have all I need, there's another color that's somehow unique enough that I must cave! I am so excited for Celestial Lights!
