MAC Nail Lacquer in Peppermint Patti
This is a polish from the Sugarsweet collection. It is a Celadon/Jade shade with some added oomph and brightness. It has received mixed reactions from the public. My nail tech thought it was lovely and very spring-like. My co-worker, Gela called it the ultimate Easter parade color. My other co-worker who shall remain nameless stated that she truly hated my nails this week.
This polish is wearing well. There is no wear or tear at the tips. The first coat of application is sheer and watery. I had to use two coats to get an even coat of color.
Now the bad news...this is sold out online and at most counters.
It retails for $11.

However Chanel might release their own version in the fall. Mr Phillips featured jade nails on the fall runway.

This color looked lovely, but I was taken in by On The Prowl, and it looks terrible on me. :(
Right now I'm wearing OPI Cajun Shrimp, but I wore China Glaze Orange Marmalade over Easter ... and I'll probly put China Glaze Grape Juice on later this week. Yess, nail fanatic much? haha.
My weekly favorite, across all seasons: Essie Sole Mate.
In college, I used to wear a Hard Candy shade similar to the Mac minty colour.
I was feeling spring on a gray day in NYC, and had my nails painted in China Glaze Mediterranean Charm (because my cousin said it was too early for flouro pink!).
I like the pale green nails on you :)
I really wanted to like it, but I felt like it was wearing me, and not the other way around. I caught some very non-beauty oriented scientists staring at my nails, and it felt too obvious.
Hmmm.. I'm wondering whether it might like nicer if it's left at one coat - the sheer and watery look. Otherwise I personally find the colour a bit sick-making!
I'm very surprised it's sold out!
Great post :-)
Kisses from Paris!

Yikes! I'm not too crazy about that color!
I'm wearing Revlon Pretty In Papaya this week!
Patty G.
I just took off Chanels Miami Peach and put on Chanels Lotus Rouge.
i bought this color immediately when it was released and have worn it about 2-3x since purchasing. i have gotten *so* many compliments on my nail color when i wear it!! the general consensus is love! :)
I think that color is adorable. I would prefer it on my toes for spring, though. Right now I have a lavendar/silver shade from Revlon called Silver Screen. It's gorgeous but my toes could use an update.
Wow. Yeah, gotta take a pass on that one. Ick. Reminds me of a Maalox bottle, I think -- don't know if it's the actual color making me feel that way, or just that it's kind of a sickly green.
Nails: OPI Java Mauve-A.
I've been wearing OPI We'll Always Have a Paris since Saturday. I'm going to switch tomorrow, maybe to a No Miss natural polish.
I love Peppermint Patti and wore it on my toes last week. Currently I'm wearing OPI's Take me to the Taj on time.
Oh, I love this colour! I'm going to have to check out the counters and store this weekend.
I currently have shimmery gunmental grey nails (from OPI's holiday collection this year, can't remember the name though), with black tips (to cover the chipping on the tips - I'm student teaching in a kindergarten class, and my nails chip FAST, and it's my lazy girl way of getting a few more days out of my manicure).
I have Lola by Zoya on my toenails (bright neon pink, very springy), and I'll probably put it on my nails next week. That's what I had last week, and my students, both male and female loved it, hee! They also dig it when I wear OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark.
I'm glad I bought the polish but have yet to wear it. I love the Peanuts Gang! I'm happy to read that Chanel may release the mint nail polish which I saw in their Fall runaway.
I like the look of Peppermint Patty a lot. Might make a line for a MAC counter to get one for myself - hope it didn't sell out yet in here :)
I'm wearing Misa Grass Is Greener On My Side at the noment, but thinking about changing it this evening to Essie Mesmerise - I'm very much into all shades of blue nail polishes :D
Looks pretty on you. Right now I'm sporting China Glaze "For Audrey" (Tiffany blue) on the toes and naked finger tips, yikes!
My all time fav...OPI Kennebunktport, the ultimate Rich Girl red.
Love the colour! Just got a dress in that colour, might get the nail polish too... I'm wearing Nars Adelita at the moment from their summer collection. On it's own it's not amazing, might have to think up some layering combinations.
I'm wearing Lippman Purple rain. Love the Peppermint Patti!
i like the color...but i think i would only wear it on my toes.
right now i'm wearing Revlon's Pink Pursuit...Limited edition for Breast cancer awareness....next will be OPI's dutch tulips..picked it up last week
I love that color. I can't wait to try it on myself. I think I'll do toes and fingers.
Right now I have Something About Pink from MAC Hello Kitty on my toes and Laura Mercier Nude Peach on my fingers, which is pretty and low maintenance.
This week I'm wearing OPI Black Cherry Chutney ~ I'm still not over the dark look!
AH! I'm so jealous; I have been jonesing for this colour forever, and as you said, its sold out everywhere! It looks fab on you!

i hope chanel does release it, and soon!
i fell in love with it on the catwalk.
it such a delish color!
its one of those nail colors you have to be careful what your skin tone / hair and makeup is doing, even more than normal i think. Similar to a bubblegum pink, can sometimes have a bad effect if done wrong,
that being said.. bubblegum pink shades are to die for and i will take any excuse to wear it!
I have a similar (if not identical) color from OPI called Hey Get in Lime.
