July 1st is going to be Jean Shrimpton day at Blogdorf Goodman. The Shrimp will be followed by posts and pictures of Marianne Faithful, Ursula Andress, Jane Asher, Diana Rigg, Peggy Moffitt and many others. The theme is 60's icons. I hope to follow that with a week of fashion muses/editors(Tina Chow,Grace Coddington),rock stars(Siousxie Sioux) and fashion in films.

Shopping with Cavewoman: Last night we did a suprise trip to Cleveland to sniff the new scent by Sarah Jessica Parker. The notes are lavender, orchid, amber, apple martini, paperwhites and musk. It is actually a very worthy and wonderful fragrance. It is very light/close to the skin/fresh/feminine scent. I was impressed. It smelled 1000 times better on cavewoman so she caved instantly. I will have to test it again before a purchase. We also sniffed the new Dior fragrance being released in August. It is called Miss Dior Cherie. Patti detected the notes of grapefruit,vanilla and strawberries. This was the one that hooked me. This is full bottle worthy. I re-tested Miss Me by Stella Cadente and finally decided that I did not like it. It took me three tests to decide that it was never going to be mine. I still do not know why I do not like it. The notes are wonderful. Everything I usually adore. Patti and I also squeezed in a Sephora run. I discovered the power and magic of N.V Perricone Amine Complex Face lift. I was just floored by the results. This works some serious miracles. I guess it is time to start spending money on skincare. We ended the night at our favorite haunt called Cancun. I thought I would go off my WW diet but I did very well. I abused the nachos but ate only half of my dinner. It was a good night. By the way...I did not buy a thing. Nada. Zilch.
