Rock the Gloss Challenge for friday September 29th 2006:

This will be my last gloss challenge post. I want to thank everyone who participated. This challenge made me revisit lipsticks and glosses that I had forgotten or ignored.

Today I am wearing Chantecaille's Cerise(a repeat) with MAC's Blue Memory layered over it.

Cerise is a stunning blue based red. The best I have found so far.
Blue Memory is a shimmery light blue gloss. I bought it because it reminded me of my favorite Chanel's Crystal Blue.

I am not going into work today. Instead I am attending the first day of the Saks Beauty Event with Cavewoman, Soul Girl, Mrs Roland, Griffie, Koneko and Mr LoveJoy. We are also going to check out the new Armani cosmetic counter. I might have more lipsticks and glosses to report about on monday.

Rock the Gloss Challenge for Thursday September 28th 2006:

I am wearing Christian Breton lipstick in "Its Me!". This is a great standard red that is neither blue or orange based. Its greatest feature is the silky smooth texture. Many lipsticks proclaim this characteritsic but few deliver. It feels gorgeous!

It is available at Bergdorf Goodman. Which brings me to a hot topic....the beauty event is going on Today. I am trying to avoid it but I might cave.

It is $25 dollars off of a $100 purchase. So if you have been stalling on a JAR fragrance or want to buy a few good lipsticks from Christian Breton...this is a great time for a splurge.

Behnaz Sarafpor Spring 2007 collection:

I am one of many that forgot to tell her that work will suck up all her free time and that weekends will go too quickly. Soon M will be feeling like this....

This is my offical "stressed from work picture". If I post this picture you know all hell is breaking loose and blog posts will slow to a halt.

M will do amazing work and will dazzle her bosses with her smarts and talents. There is no doubt in my mind that this is a stepping stone to great things. I am a huge fan!!!
